Hi

MAG-C (Body) to MAG-D (head)

Design just finished for MAG-C to MAG-D Head Adapter.

This will allow any D-Fit head to attach to a Mag-C body.

Colour : BLACK.


SF-M6 to MAG-D Head

Adapter will allow any standard fit D-Head to attach to an M-series body.
Colour : Olive-Grey HA(III)

LEDs
Provision for Led-Zep Cone Driver-HS adapter. Available from LED Zeppelin as seen HERE

This should allow for many different LED / Head / Driver combinations.
(eg. FM-3 / LedZep 4xP7 / 4xMC-E / Osram etc.) examples. HERE

INCANs
Provision for KIU-D adapter and any under KIU-D regulator. (KIU +cone adapter if prefered)
Incans driven by 3x17650, 6x17500, 2xC, 3x18650, etc.


Design with Machineshop
- Programming: Next Week (Wednesday onwards)
- Cutting: Week after
- Anodising Week after that . . .
all being well !!!!!

I would be interested in the M6 to D adapter but I have no source for a HA Olive/ Gray Mag head. I would want my complete light to match.

Hi

Price is difficult to get down for small runs of complex little pieces as programming is the major cost. Once the machineshop programmer gets a look at the plans I will get a better idea.

The Mag adapter will show a small (12mm) ring of knurled black grip and a bit of D size neck depending on focus adjustment.

I can probably get heads anodised HA(III) Olive-Grey at time of adapter anodising.
If they have to be stripped then results can be more variable. There is no guarantee of colour match with anodising, batch to batch and material to material.

My M6 and M3 vary from plain Grey parts to full Green - (The bezels seem to be greenest).

The Dichromate seal adds the Green and this fades with time, from quite bright after first dip, to about SF colour ( Newer SF seem to be Greener indeed some early are pure Grey (to my eye ! ).

Matching is simply not guaranteed.

I don't mind the typical aftermarket HA difference. If you can get a D size head just close, I would take one adapter and one head.

I will get one. And if you can make some in Silver, Gray (Pewter) or Polish Aluminum, I'll get at least another one.

I possibly have an old Std. head that can be stripped and HA(III) or you can send me one of of yours for same treatment.

I can leave some Bare Aluminium of course as they are wanted.
