Should I open it?

I recently bought a Streamlight 3N online it arrived today. Its was old inventory and the package says its made in USA. The new streamlights say assembled in USA. Does this have any collectors value? Should I leave it unopened and get another one to use?

I say open it and use it. I don't think it will be collectible.... like (say) a SF-3P.

I have always wondered if those can be cut, epoxied and fit with a 14500? or 10440.

Should I open it?
