I've been collecting body parts lately to create some nice looking lights. Thanks here to Griff for this very nice VG 1x123 body that I topped off with an Aleph 1 head.

Fantastic mod by Mac here. 4 x Rebels, flupic, 450+ lumens on an imr cell.

Wow! That is an awesome mini-build. What reflectors are in that head and do you have any beamshots?:hitit:

Thanks folks. I really love the look of this light. Its pretty compact and fits nice in a pocket. A great all purpose light.

Mac could probably answer the tech stuff better than me. I believe this flupic came in at a rather high burst mode of about 1.3~.4A. So, that is 325 - 350ma per Rebel. I'm guessing, but I should get around 20 - 25 minutes on burst, with no heat issues.

I can try to do a beamshot comparison against some other known lights I have. But it has a large hotspot, and rather large spill beam. A wonderful light for general use up to around 40 yards. Tons of light in burst at 40 yards.
