Selling 2 Cree MC-E powered Enerqizer 1xAA lights.
The original Cree XR-C led has been replaced by a WF color bin Cree MC-E.
The MC-E is mounted on a copper disk in place of the original star. It's
running through the original regulator and I've been tested one of these
lights for weeks with no problems. You can run it off of a LifePo4 3.2V AA
battery from Walmart, or a 3.7V 14500 Li-ion (no battery included). My
meter says 1 amp draw on the 14500, but I'm not sure that is accurate.

The beam is very smooth with the textured reflector. A large hot spot
with a lot of flood, but it still has a little throw. Although there is no X
in the hotspot, a small dark hole is in the middle. It isn't very noticable
in normal use.

If you hate the sensitive switch on these lights, I have a mod that
increases the momentary switch travel and the button pressure. They
now feel more like a Surefire Z57 clicky. Both these lights have this
switch mod. I'll also be offering this mod for your switches.

Added info
There are 2 things i need to add about the lights.
First is that positive contact on board has a solder blob
added so the light will work with older flat top 14500 cells
like the AW"s I have. Second is that even on the new light
there are a couple small marks in the finish on the head only.
They are from removing the clip and loosening the heavily
glued head. I touched up the spots and you may not even
notice them.

Light #1 is the same way but has also some barely noticeable
edge wear on the body whereas the body on #2 does not
because it's new.

Light #1
This was my test light for this mod and has some barely noticeable
edge wear. It was built on a new, unused light. It would be difficult
to tell this from new. The "1W" body marking has the 1 etched to
make it a 7 (for 7 watt led). Comes in the original blister pack with
an unused pocket clip and lanyard.

$55 USD shipped CONUS. Paypal ( CC Ok ) or USPS Money Order.

Light #2
Built on a new light. Comes in the original blister pack with pocket
clip and lanyard.

$65 USD shipped CONUS.

Paypal ( CC Ok ) or USPS Money Order.

I also have 2 new Energizer hosts for this mod if there is demand for more.
I have no more MC-E's in stock, so there would be a wait for those. If warm tint led's were available, I could do that also though the price could change if they were more expensive.
Please PM me if you would be interested in having this mod on your light.

I've also been working on an energizer with a direct drive Seoul P7 and IMR
16340 battery, but so far I don't think it's worth the extra labor over the
MC-E mod.
