1) Black Dog
dsc2302.jpg

- HA black M6-CB host
- MZXR-7 module, R2 WD
- Blue Shark/Remora
- (7) HA black 19mm aspherics
- FM 3 X 17670 holder (cells not included)
$850 plus shipping***SOLD***

This light has lots of throw and is great for long distance spotting. The black aspheric holders do a decent job of muting the extraneous rings typical of an aspheric beam. There is a manufacturing blemish visible in the last large pic above, a machining scratch in the lengthwise flute below "Black Dog". I am the orignal owner of this light and it was received that way.

2) Megalennium Noir

dsc2304.jpg

- HA black Megalennium v1 (cells not included)
- Mac's McClicky adapter
- MZXR-7 module, R2 WD, contact spring for use w/ Megalennium
- Blue Shark/Remora
- (7) McR19XR
$775 plus shipping ***SOLD***

This light has the standard MZXR-7 module w/ reflectors and a traditional beam. The pre-ano etching opened up some pores in the alum, so the finish has some small blotches visible in the above pics.

The anodizing on both lights is super hard and should wear like iron.

More info available here.

Beamshots
Taken on a foggy moonlit night.
Lights on hi, ISO200, white bal. sunshine, F3.5, 2.5 sec, followed by 1 sec. then 1/2 sec. Howling at the moon F3.5, 1.6 sec. then 1 sec.

Thank you all for the comments.

I've added some beamshots to the first post. It's foggy out tonight which drastically reduced throw, but gave a more visual profile.

Sure. You can also specify other modules as well; at the moment I have sinks to build up the tri-P7, tri-MC-E, and the Ostar/3 Cree. Those would be $45 less.

Say Zep, you think one of those aspherics would fit in an a19 head? Awesome work as well! Lol, Illum beat me to it, the first thing I thought when I saw this was: "OMG, a pocket Databank!" I wish I had that kinda cash or talent.

ah jee golly...I get paid at the end of the month:mecry:

Maybe by the end of the summer I can bug Mr. L Zep for a Black Dog.

Excellent work, and great beamshots as well!

Ryan, the holders were designed to be a drop-in replacement for any McR19XR. The only fit difference is the addition of a centering ring that locates on the Cree metal ring.

It should work perfectly in an A19.
