5.3 D Mag!!!

This is really nothing more than a post saying that I modified my 5 D mag by dropping in the 3 D LED bulb and replacing the last 2 D cells with a measured out and cut old broom handle. I staple-guned wire on each end of the handle to make the connection as a dummy. The batteries go in first and the thing is very light and easy to manuever. Works great. Plus, with mags, I've had a tendency to play around with the lights as I would a baton and ended up popping more than one set of batteries. It was tough to clean the light of the acid damage (Mag owners should take note of this). This adapted light is a nice, easily-handled baton. Try it if you have a 5 D and a 3 D and want to combine them for good use.

-just make sure not to accidentally put in five cells and let out the magic smoke!
