Some pictures testing our newests lights. We have introduced some improvements on our dive lights, and I wanted to show them.

As you can see the differences are greater when you are perpendicular to the beam, but when it is near parallel to the picture axis, they are not so noticeable.

The "target" is a 7 l. cylinder. The lights are 5 meters away from the target on first series, and 1,2 m away from camera. 2 meters away from target on second series.

You can see too some green strobes on the floor.

The "contenders" from up left to down right:

1. Barbolight U-04 Mk. VI. (next generation of U-04's, improved driver, improved reflector.)
2. Barbolight U-15 Mk IV. (2008 model, 4x KLC8, 20 mm. reflectors)
3. Barbolight U-15 Mk. VI.(2nd Q 2009. D bin P7 LED, Improved reflector)
4. "xxxx brand" 18 Watt HID lamp, with "EKPP type reflector".

And one picture with all of them lighting at the same time (and some other which were tested)

From left to right:

U-04 2008, U-04 2009, U-04 "proto", U-15 2008, U-15 2009, 18 watt HID.

And FYI a comparison U-04 2008 vs U-04 2009.

The diference between U-04 2008 and U-04 2009 is very noticeable, 2008 version uses Edixeon and 2009 version uses SSC p4? Same intensity in both to the led?

The diametre of reflectors in both are the same?

I hope we can see pictures of the strobes soon.

Nice to see your new work.

Nice comparison Javier ;)

I am getting close to finishing the 3x MC-E custom dive light using your Barbo host that I am building for you, so it would be cool at some point in the future to see how bright it does compared to your other dive lights

Hello Will,

Thank you very much. As I explained you this 3x MCE will be used mainly for pictures, so you will have plenty of them.
