GITD O-rings or Trits?

I have, as some of you may know from my other thread, recently ordered a solarforce L2 with the crenulated bezel.

I am interested in getting either GITD O-rings or Trits So that I can find the torch at night in the tent.

After alot of drink I may have forgotten exactly where I put it.

I'm not up for cutting into the body of the torch.

So basically I want to know if there are any recesses in the body suitable for trits,

or, if there are any suitable areas to locate O-rings, and if so, does anyone know the size, I havent yet received the torch

Tritiums are the only sure way to find your light in total darkness (aside from a locator mode or another light on your lanyard). The easiest way to get one on any light is to just use a keychain/fob vial: http://www.cpfmarketplace.com/mp/showthread.php?t=182082

GITD is useless unless you put it in the flashlight head or shine it with another light source.

I would attach a tritium keychain to a lanyard.

I've got some GITD "Glo-Rings" (see my signature), however will "agree" with richardcpf. I wouldn't say the Glo-Rings are useless, but their glow will certainly dissipate over the hours depending on how much "charge" you gave them from another light source.

Where as tritium is always glowing...

I still like the Glo-Rings though...CPF mantra ---> Buy em' both!
