I have a question for those of you that have both lights. Does the head of the Connexion x2 screw onto the Encore body?

I only have a ConnX2 but looking at the size's the Connexion X2 engine diameter is 20mm and the Encore engine is 21mm diameter. So its possible the the X2 engine/head is to small.

The reason I ask is because if it would work it would increase the runtime on li-ions considerably due to the lower drive amps.
