All units are on a build to order. This way I can keep the latest and brightest LED stock.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for the build. Family first, the boss said!

John: I have a working solution for the turbo head but unfortunately, I do not think the market can bear the cost of a new light engine in addition to the turbo head. I'm now siting on over 200+ Luxeon turbo head that I need to find a way to recoup.

bewshy: I'm currently in Germany for 3 weeks and will ship your light when I get back to the states.
BTW: don't post your email on public forums. Bots will SPAM you to death.

Varriano: Yours was shipped on the day I flew out of SFO.

I just want to say that I've had a Draco TiCN on my keychain for over a year and it still looks brand new! This finish is INCREDIBLE.

A few times the head has fallen off the body after getting untwisted somehow in my pockets. This always worried me do the relatively few threads that secure the head to the body.

Today I got some Nyogel #779 and this stuff is GREAT. It is EXTREMELY viscous and now I have no fear that the head will ever unscrew unintentionally.

I've had the Draco for a while now and it's a wonderful little light. I was expecting something nice when I ordered the Drake but I wasn;t prepared for how SCREAMING bright this little thing is. Oh my word... :)

Jonathan, when will you be getting more of the AltiN Drake bodies in? I love that coating on my Draco and would like the little one to match with a trit vial...

Re: === Drake / Draco Payment === (PART 3)

Just echoing PSM's sentiments.. I'm just revisiting this light now and re-reading the thread(s). I'm strongly considering ordering one. Haven't got to read this thread all the way to the end, but I hope I don't find out they're no longer available!

:thanks:

Got mine today, thanks Jonathan!

I cant believe I waited this long to buy one of these.

Can someone point me to a post telling which LEDs are currently available to build out a Draco as well as approximate runtimes one may achieve with each in the standard Draco configuration? Also, does someone happen to know what the runtimes look like with an AAA extension tube using currently available LEDs? I know, tough questions.. but I have absolutely no idea what to order without knowing this information.

Thanks guys.

pcmike:
The current LED is R2-WC bin.

AAA extension will give you almost twice the runtime, however it's kinda defeating the purpose of the light. If I want to achieve such long runtime I would have designed a CR2 or CR123 light.

As for the availability of the light. It's running on it's 3rd year. As you can see from the quantity available, I only have bare Ti left. The remaning quantity should last for another 6 months.

So the big $20K question is should I continue the current line. Upgrade & Update the current model.
Or completely revamp the design and have a fresh start.

So many options, so little $$$$$, and even less time :-D

+1:twothumbs I have a AlTin Drake around my neck as I type and this thing is simply amazing. I even amazed co-workers at work overpowering their puny streamlight 4aa polymer:crackup: . Would love to have a single Cr123 EDC from you Modamag (i'm a newbie so I'm not hip w/ the LED lingo/types but I'm working on it.) maybe a ramping feature w/ clickie.

I'm just day dreaming...something to rival my fenix pd30:candle:
