Does anyone know if the JB II IBS and the JB II "Pro" IBS share the same switch assembly ?

Is there anyone who sells replacement JetBeam switches? Or, am I a victim of the non-stop JetBeam "evolution"? My JB JET-II Pro switch quit working. Probably 80 cycles in.

The switch is covered by warranty. Either your vendor or JetBeam will replace it. I'm willing to bet that JetBeam would just mail you a new switch without requiring the return of the light, as long as you can confirm that it turns on when you connect the negative terminal of the battery to the body.

Also, the tail cap is the same on both models (Jet-II Pro and Jet-II IBS), so I can't see why the switch would not be interchangeable.

656nm- Thank you.

Tip & Ring- Bugoutgear has the Jet II replacement switches. These handle a larger current and have a metal retainer.

JetBeam reminds me of Doctor Who sometimes :) ;)
Anyway, if anyone finds a JetBeam model they really, really like -I would suggest buying two.:D
