SC1 Spares Carrier Lanyard = Z50 Lanyard?

Does anyone know if the lanyard that comes with the SC1 carrier is the same as the Z50 lanyard (or Z33/34/35 for that matter)?

I need a lanyard for my E2e and have an extra one from a SC1 -- just wondering if its the same lanyard.

Yes it is.

You may find that removing the split-ring from the SC means it's stretched a bit and doesn't fit well in the attachment point on the PocketClip.

Stretched split-ring from the SC

I put the split-ring from the SC on my A2 attachment point on the pocketclip & it dosn't lay flat - it stands vertical on the single strand part of the ring.

Can I buy a new ring from SF & expect it fit loosly?

I don't think so. I use the split-ring from an old Swiss Army knife which is thinner and smaller.

Do you really need to use the split ring at all? Can't you just clip the spring clip on the lanyard to the flashlight's pocket clip lanyard loop?
