Is this possible? I am a firefighter and this light mounts perfectly on my helmet as well as being safe for flammable environments. I would love to find a way to make it a little brighter and perhaps last a little longer. Thanks!

Mods.. I think I put this in the wrong forum the first time..

well, this is the incandescent version. I dont think u can make it any brighter. But you may make the run time longer using NIMH batteries.

However, the safety approval on those lights are tested using alkaline battery, so using NIMH may interfere with that. Nevertheless, I doubt that it will interfere much.

Pelican 2300 is a nice torch. Better than the maglite I guess though I dont own one yet.
