Hi all,

I need some advice to help narrow down what flashlights and brands to look at. Although I love flashlights my my collection is limited to an Insight H2 Typhoon, Inova T-3 and Inova T-4. Both Inova lights are the older type with the TIROS lens. I really like the TIROS lens, no one seems to use them anymore.

What I'm looking for in a new light:

Rechargable single lithium-ion (like the T-4).

No more than 150 lumens and no less than 120.

Continueously dimmable but 3 settings would be fine.

Under $160.

Features that would be nice but not required:

Warm output color.

Use both rechargable lithiums and straight 123 lithium batteries.

Kind Regards

Why no more then 150 lumen?

Also there aren't many multimode cradle charging lights. The newer Inova T4 could work.

If you don't mind taking out the batteries to charge it, then you'll have more options. The Olight M20 could work. The Jetbeam Jet III M has 2 output settings, I think one of which is user setable, and can be had with a neutral white LED.

:welcome:

Thanks for the replies Sapperg and Gunner12,

I'll take a look at the recommended reviewers posts and suggested lights.

I don't need anything above 150 lumens, it would just be a waste.

Kind Regards

I argree with Gunner12 and with $160 I would get both the Jetbeam Jet III-M (w/charger and (2) 18650's) and Jet II Pro IBS (one CR123) to add to the collection and yes checkout selfbuilts reviews, my reason for becoming a Jetbeam Whore.:twothumbs
