I recently got my first SureFire. I love it, but the clip is SO tight it's slowing tearing right through my belt. It's also wreaking havoc on my jeans pockets. Is there a clip I can get for my SureFire that is gentler on clothing?

Also, I can't simply put it in my pocket because the checkered grips are simply too abrasive. Can I get some sort of a sheath for it?

Thanks for any suggestions.

How about an On/Scene Tactical sheath?

E2e (with KL1 head) is on the right.

call surefire, ask for tech support and ask for the longer M2 clip. the first thing i do to any E2e is swap out that short stout pain in the *** clip for the longer more secure one.

Bend the clip in a controlled manner? I do this on most of my knife clips.

I did that with my E2E clip but wasn't happy with it so I put my E2E Bezel + P61 (modded by Nascar with inspiration and permission from McGizmo)onto my SF Outdoorsman which comes with the M2 clip. For regular use I carry my E2HA which has its own excellent clip.

I'm retrofitting my remaining E2E's with M2 clips as tkl suggested.
