Re: Ganp Deviant

If I'm not mistaken, Ganp said his Griffins run for like 25 minutes with the same driver.

Mmm...
Sounds odd..
But as I said, I allways keep them fresh..

I´ve defintly used the light without charging for more then 25 mins. though.. Maybe not 25 in a row but alltogether way more IMO..

Re: Ganp Deviant

Used with an AW RCR123 protected battery the XR-E/GD1000 driver combination gives approx' 25 minutes runtime if left on continuously. Then the protection circuit cuts the power. Other batteries may differ, and unprotected batteries certainly will.

Intermittent use always seems to give more runtime - maybe the battery has a chance to recover a little - but I have never totaled up intermittent runtimes to check.

Good luck with your sale Lumafist. That Deviant is the first complete light I sold. :)

Re: Ganp Deviant Priced to move @ 240$ shipped{insured

I was the previous owner of this light and let me say, if your looking
for a light that will survive a nuclear strike, this is the one.
Has a nice weight to it in the hand, good throw thanks to the McR27
and a R2 driven at 1000mA .... nice and bright :twothumbs
I only sold it to fund other projects, plus the fact that I have moved away
from single 123 cell lights (diddy size :nana::nana::nana: )

Bump to the top
