Single AA with liteflux beam pattern?

I really like the liteflux LF5XT beam pattern for its smooth transition between hotspot and spill. However, I'd prefer a simpler interface and lower price.

The Lumapower LM31 seems to approach this to some extent with its SSC LED but is hard to find.

Would anyone have other recommendations?

I would personally keep an eye out on the 4Sevens Quark thread for once beamshots start showing up. XP-E lights seem to usually have a decent transition between spot and spill and the Quarks have a textured reflector to boot.

I did not know that about the XP-E's - I'll keep an eye out for the Quarks and will check out other lights using that LED. Thanks for the info.
