BRIGHTGUY\'s jungle trip
I got this post from Greg Atwell of Brightguy after ordering some lights from them. It intrigued me because it seemed exotic and also because it showed another example of how an interest in flashlights connects with other life interests.

At the end of the month I am going to Brazil for a couple weeks to travel into the jungle with a flashlight customer who happens to have an eco tour company...
I am looking forward to the trip. It will be with about 10 people I've never met except for the tour operator, Doug Trent. And I guess I've never met Doug, though we do talk over phone when he calls to order flashlights. He is a biologist who had lived in Brazil for about 15 years and now guides trips into the amazon and elsewhere to spot game. Doug works with the local park servicves to help preserve the rainforests by bringing in tourism dollars. It should be a lot of fun.
