The lenses are the original ones purchased from surplus shed and are much better than the others currently available. If you have a 1d to 3aa holder it will work fine.

Those are the 3 configurations I can build you can all have 1d's size if wanted.

DoublePlusLight (I have one other Aspherical lens with a chip in the rim. I will see if it's visible once assembled into a light if not it's yours)

I have a RCatR aspherical Mag, the lens has a chip on the rim, roughly about the size of half a finger nail, it does not show up in the beam.
