Can the Tiablo ACE G handle 3.7 V 18650 battery?

The specs of ACE G indicates it handles 2.7V - 18 V. Does it mean the light shuts off when it detect 3.7 V battery?

I am a bit confused.

Yeah, I've been wondering about this myself. I also wonder if it is OK to add another extension tube and use 3 18650's without harming the ACE-G's electronics? I realize that technically 3 18650's are still within the voltage range that the ACE-G is supposed to be able to handle.
