Can you use the FM body w/ regular "C" cells?

I'll take the 2XC body. If you are selling the body and cells together, I'll still take it. How would you like payment to be made?

Thanks. Now I need to figure out what bezel/head/LED module to put on this tube.

Got the package today. Thanks. One thing -- one of the IMRs has some damage.

What is under the orange wrapper? Is there more insulation? I don't want to start peeling the damaged area and make it bigger and-or break off a chunk of plastic.

Wow, definitely did not ship that way, was package beat up when you received it? From a safety or performance stand point it should not have any negative effect. I peeled off the back 1/8 inch of insulation on one of my C cells to make contact with a FM tailcap and it performs as expected. I wouldn't worry about it. If you have a problem, let me know.

Package seemed fine, but the plastic bag holding the cells did seem to have a crease in it, suggesting some sort of pressure against it from the edge of the battery.
