Hi All,
Im after recommendations on LED drivers. Something that is durable, wont overheat and links to DIY.
I would be using it with 2d mag, 2 x lion cell (8.4V), 1 x p7 led.
I would like the driver to have modes for different levels of output.

I recently bought a driver from kaidomains but because poor communications and no guides on how to wire it all up, so I ended up damaging it.

I just looked at the threads of interest up top and that make totally confused. So many options, choices and therefore I would like to know whats the latest in led modding.

Or alternatively I wouldnt mind buying a pre-made maglight with similar features.

Thanks in advance guys.

You could use a TaskLED.com D2Flex direct driver with dimming. You'll find that the instructions and documentation on TaskLED are top notch.
You'll just need to add a resistor between the battery and driver.

For a true Buck driver you could try the Shark Buck w/ Remora from the Sandwich Shoppe
