Thank you for the link, I scanned it for about 10 minutes and it looks like things are looking up in the field of LED optics. This weekend, when I have more time to study the paper, I will read and eventually understand this paper. BTW, your Mini-LGI will be living with the McFlood reflector afixed to the great light. At this point, it is south of Baghdad lighting up the world for a friend of mine... the McFlood should work with the M-LGI. Have you tried swapping the optics in the M-LGI? When it gets back, I will swap the optics and use it for troubleshooting medical equipment.

I wish I could take credit for the mini-LGI, but that was Mr. Bulk's mod. Charlie makes some awesome mods and deserves every bit of credit for his hard work.

Yes, I've not had the time to sit down and study the paper either, but looked like something we all could use a read on. Maybe after I finish these bazilion Micro Illuminators....
