Sold/Expired WTB dropin for 5 D mag lite.

due to impulsive flashoholicism i am now the proud owner of a flouresent orange 5 D mag.

dont ask its a long story, i painted it

anywhoo.

id like a dropin for it, 5 D (6v) ?

anyone got some parts laying around and want to build me something?

it doesnt have to be anything amazing....just much better the the stock mag bulb :laughing:.

maybe a p-4, p-7, mc-e, q5....anything almost that will run on alkalines or nimh/nicd gimme 100+ lumens ??

tint and artifacts dont bother me.

right now this 5d mag is essentially useless, id like to throw an led in there and turn it into a useful light...

ill maybe gift it to someone?

i can get a malkoff for $70.... can anyone do something a little cheaper?

if you can throw a buck/boost board in there with 2-3 levels id pay more

anyone got an led, driver and heatsink they want to sell?
and a dab of paste etc?

im happy to try and do this, but waiting 4 weeks for faulty parts to arrive is not a great thought.

is there anywhere in the us to buy these parts with faster delivery time and better qc?
