Here is something I threw together out of boredom last night.
It is a black Aleph III using a Rayovac 3C cell optic and a Cree R2(I think)
The hot spot is much tighter and brighter than my E2DL on high.
The beam is a bit ringy but hardly noticable outside.
This sucker throws like mad.
I'll try to get beamshots tomorrow night, its too light out already.
I used a Heatsink from a fellow CPFer for the cree.
