Hi, guys

I've got a NDI light that was working fine until about 2 weeks ago, when I last used it. Today, when I tried turning it on expecting it to be on Low mode (the head was "loose"), it came on high.
If I put it on high mode position and try to enter strobe, I get strobe. But if I put it on low mode position, it stays on high. And if I try to reset the low mode intensity, there is no change. It won't ramp up or down.

I keep an eneloop cell in it, and it's been recharged.

Any hints of what I could try?

My NDI's behavior changes much and becomes unstable when the threads are dirty. I suggest that you take away head and tailcap and throughly clean everything, then apply a very thin amount of lubricant on the o-rings and not on the threads.

I am pretty sure that your problem will be cured. :)

It worked! :)

I applied a thin layer of deoxit gold on the circuitry under the head (where the + side of the battery touches), and put a little lube on the o-rings, as Kilovolt suggested and voilá.

I had bought the deoxit from 4sevens a long time ago and never needed it until now. Didn't even remember where I had put it, hehehe.

Thank you!
