What parts do I need for this conversion?

Tell me if I am thinking along the right lines here please

If I want to convert a surefire M2 to AA is there an extension piece that will fit on it?

will a malkoff m60 fit in my bezel?

I'm trying to figure if this is a better way to go or to just go with buying a 9p or G3 and do the conversion

It would be a better bet to just buy a 9P.That way you could run 3 primary cells or 2AA.Get yourself a M60LL and you have a great combo.It will run at full power on the 3 primary for 14-16 hours.And if you cant get your hands on them run 2XAA at a reduced level for like 70-80 hours.

Thanks for the info! So will a M60LL fit a 9P and/or G3 original bezel?

Yes the M60 will fit a 6/9P or G2/3 bezel. However you will notice that the head will not screw down all the way, this is normal.
