Is there anything special to the Space Needle II ?

I was wondering of there is anything special to the Space Needle II. Resistors, convertors, etc.
Or is it just straight direct drive?

Leading to my second question. Someone said before, but I forget. How many volts ccan a 5W LS take , direct drove?

The SNII is straight up Direct Drive... No fuss, just straight wires and flowing juices...

9V direct drive is about as brave as I'd be willing to push anything, considering the highest Vf I've seen on a 5W LS is no more than ~8.2V...

Is there anything special to the Space Needle II ?
