123s in a Brinkmann NexStar 2AA ?

was looking at the thread on Bulk's Micro Dragon and was wondering ... will a stock NexStar 2AA take 123's?

thinking of trying it with some steroid boosted twin pin lamps ...

a stock Nexstar 2AA will not take 123's , you need it bored out and new threads cut and a threaded bushing for the switch.
