I recently had my brother pop a Seol P4 LED in it. It makes it much brighter than it already is. I can't help you with the switch though. You can try to take it apart and see what you see.

Ledbeam fixed bad switches free...however, I think they may not be around anymore. I bought a dozen for gifts, and the earlier ones had weak switches. Only have 1 left..and the switch is not good!

I guess you could find a switch that would fit into it on Dealextreme.

My LEDBeam light had enough return flights to Hawaii to get its own frequent flier account. When it failed again after the fourth repair, it met its final demise when I whipped it off the interstate bridge I was standing on . I can report that after falling to the rip-rap some 150 feet below, it made a very satisfying Ping, Clunk, Tinkle sound. Sorry, no beamshots.
