Actually a 6PL Defender - I've been contemplating getting a Malkoff dropin, and tonight attempted to unscrew the head.

At first the reflector and LED remained stationary, but after a few turns they'd catch and start rotating.

Question - can that rip up wiring inside or is it safe to proceed?

I've never been inside an LED light before...

EDIT: Nevermind, I just discovered the dropin instruction videos on the Malkoff site and saw how this is built.

Ahh I'd thought of that but at first it didn't seem possible to edit the post title, it was pretty late last night lol!

And I did order an M60, and yup, I know it's going to rip!
