Hi all. I saw these on Amazon... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000ZUC5AI/?tag=cpf0b6-20

Found these as well... http://www.garritylites.com/page613.html they seem to be fairly nice.

Basically a little night light/flashlight/power outtage backup. Seems like a neat idea and I'd like to get something like this for my home. Something I can plug into a socket and forget about and when the power goes out... poof they come on and light up the general area. I would like them to be able to be removed from the socket and used as a flashlight/lantern type deal. I could care less about the night light as we usually leave small lamps on in the halls and such anyway. What's the best product like this out there. The sylvania looks ok but it seems real likely it could fail or crap out and just never work after being left in a plug in for years.

I'd like something built intelligently that won't overcharge or kill it's own battery over time and will put out a decent amount of lumens (Maybe 30 to 60). Cost doesn't really matter if it's built nice and will last. Thanks everyone.
