Is my NEX broken?

I have a Nitecore Extreme R2. Works great, but for the low setting isn't that low. I just picked up a D10 R2 and its low setting is much lower than the NEX. Is that normal? Given the advertised lumens, the NEX should be dimmer on low than the D10. Anyone notice this as well, or is my NEX abnormal? Thanks.

There's nothing wrong with your NEX, that's normal. The D10/EX10 are capable of much lower output than the NEX despite the advertised numbers.

If there's something to say against the NEX, it's the Low, which isn't low enough.

Compared to the LF3XT, the Low is really bright. But, hey, it's a tactical light, so high is more important!
