WOOF! SureFire \"G3\" 200 lumens - it works!

OK, here it is, a yellow G2 converted to a "G3" with only a couple parts and minimal work.

It's quite simple, a G2, P91 HOLA, an AN-14 adapter, an extra 123a, and a cut-down Z20 battery spacer (or Z29, exactly ¾" not including nub). If you want the Pyrex lens, add a G2z bezel. I don't feel the G2Z bezel is necessary unless you intend to have the light on for more than 5 or so minutes. Besides, you can always get one if you melt the lexan.

Here's a couple pics:

Total weight (with lanyard) is 6.5oz and total length is 7 1/16". If you should want it to be more water resistant, it is necessary to plug the tiny hole in the A19 adapter

Re: WOOF! SureFire

I like it! I think I even like the color, also.

It's kind of ironic that I've been thinking about this one again recently. I think I could put a regulator in the space of the dummy cell and use a P60.

Will this light work if the batteries are installed backwards? I don't yet have a G2 to find out.

Nice mod!
