I'm looking to buy a new Mag-Lite (well, 2, actually), and I'm debating on buying a 4-C cell Mag and a 4-D Mag, or 2 4-D mags. Since I can't find any 4 cell Mag's in any store near me, I'm asking you guys for a picture comparison of 4D vs 4C (maybe toss a 3D in there, too, so I can see the size increase and get a better idea on the sizes)
The reasoning behind this is is because I am going to be doing P7 conversions, and I'm going to be using ShiningBeam's MC-E/P7 driver, and using Ni-Mh's to power it (3x Ni-Mh's don't work on high for more than 3 minutes for me).
I was thinking of a 4C and a 4D because the 4C is smaller, but will still allow for a fair runtime on high, but the 4D will run for about twice as long. The other reason I was looking at the 4C, too, was because it will be more portable than a 4D, but if I'm not sacrificing that much size, I'll just go with 2 4D Mag's.
