HK airport shopping?

I am looking for a netbook, the Asus 1000HE and will be in HK airport in October.
Should there be anyone going there I would appreciate it a lot if they could check prices, I'm wondering if they can be had cheaper there... (Hey, I'm a frugal cloggie... )

Hmmm ..... you could probably get a better price elsewhere in Hong Kong
The prices at the airport, tend to be at the upper end of the market

Shopping in HK is ALL duty free, no taxes to pay
If you do manage to sneak out of the airport, head to Mong Kok, you
can buy anything there
If your short of time, go to somewhere like Fortress or Boardway, these
stores are major electrical retailers in HK. They will sell official products, not
dodgy "grey imports" and more importantly you get an official warranty.

Just had a quick look for the price of a Asus EPC1000HE-BLU010X

Middle of the road price is about HK$3188 which is about 290 Euros

The Asus EEEPC1000H-BK001X is HK$2499, again middle of the road price

I will only be there for a short stopover, so I won't have time to go shopping in HK city unfortunately.
Thanks for the price indication, judging from that I definately can get a better deal elsewhere.
