Your New Streamlight PolyTac on rcr123's?

Streamlight seems to be kicking some butt in the new lights category. Just found out about the new Streamlight PolyTac Led lights and as always wondered whether someone had put rcr123's in your to see what would happen? Will you let me know how it has worked for you with rechargeables?

I have been running AW's rcr123's in my SureFire E2DL for a year now at work. Now have just put a pair of primaries in it and gave it to my wife as a edc in her bag. Even showed her how to use the E2DL to impress someone on their forehead should that someone get obnoxious with her. Anyway, after a year of tough duty at work with rerchargeables I want to know whether your PolyTac is up to the job of being driven with a bit more recharged volts. How is your doing?

you should use the tl3 bulb with 2 rcr123 in the polytec. It will be alot brighter, but run time will suffer.
