If you want no throw at all and LOTS of flood in a small package, you can't go wrong with any of the Zebra Lights ... between my car, boat, and home I have a half dozen of 'em.

thanks guys!

can't find the PLI on shiningbeam.com.. anyone got a link? or has it sold out?

Ask him. You find contact information on his web site or in the market place. He's very nice to deal with.

Most likely, it's sold out and will appear when back in stock.

That being said, I would appreciate if Shiningbeam would stop removing those articles that are out of stock from his web shop. A big, fat notice that says OUT OF STOCK on those articles would be sooooo much better.

Would a good flashlight with multiple mode works or must you have a dim-able flashlight like Maglite? Personally, I prefer something like a Maglite, which I am not sure if it is a more durable option. Even the Maglite actually just adjust flood/throw combination but it does give a dimmer look without the saving of battery power.
