Thought I would share this story with everyone. I was walking by a security guard (armed) and I noticed a familiar silver and black object poking out of his flashlight pouch on his duty belt. It was the Brinkman Legend LX. He was very pleasant and we started talking. He said he bought it at Walmart and absolutely loves it. Said he went on a night fire exercise training and it lit not only his own target but the 2 on either side and he scored very high on the exercise.
However he was buying the e2 batteries for it at WalMart at $10 a pair. I gave him the names of several online retailers and he was very grateful for the "cheap battery" information.
BTW, from the sound of it ("He had an $80 flashlight that was about the same size as this one.") his instructor had a Surefire.
