How many Lumens do you think this one would dish out ?

you can have 1000 lumens, and a 100 lumen flashlight with a well designed reflector can still out throw it without breaking a sweat.

Well that's not a lot of info. That massive reflector would have good throw. We need at least the wattage of the halogen bulb to determine lumens.

These zillion-candlepower lights are a load of nonsense.

You mean "could have"?

Those things are equipped with reasonably stroppy auto headlamp bulbs, I think the high beam filament is 100 W. I have a 100 W, 6V version which is out-thrown by my 4 W LED torch with a magnifying glass held in front of it.
