That voltage and current shouldn't be a problem for the switch (I've run one with no problems at 6V, and it survived a brief run at 7.4V as well), but the IQ switch will reduce the current even on "hi", so it may produce unexpected results if you're pairing it with a driver that wants to draw 700mA.
