The header at the top of the browser on the Z58 and and Z59 pages say "Rear Cap Assy Click" in block letters. Is it me or is that not quite right?

Whilst it would been useful to share the links to the pages you are referring to;

The Z58 (HA) and the Z59 (BK) are Clickie TailCaps so the description is correct

"Rear Cap Assy Click"

means Rear [Tail]Cap Assembly, Click switch

The description is historic from when the TailCap and switch contact assembly were separate components rather than the current combined assembly. This dates from when SureFire simply changed out various switching systems installing them in the TailCap housing.

SureFire invented the LockOut TailCap that limited the travel of the switch contact assembly to allow the switch [and therefore the light] to be disabled through unscrewing the TailCap beyond a point at which no amount of pressure applied to the push button activated the light.

This also meant that the TailCap could be effectively water-proofed by factory-sealing the rubber switch boot.

It's worth pointing out that for a long time the "click" switch was very much the exception for SureFire products.

Also, SureFire designed a plug-in system for their remote switching systems that required the TailCap housing to be redesigned and indeed completely re-imagined with the XM to have both a push button pressure click switch and a remote switch socket.

Thank-you! That explains it really well.
I was confused cause the descriptions for the other tailcaps were different.
