Now that I have read that Surefire uses a different rating system when determining lume, I really like the looks of the SureFires..
I thought I my mind was made up to go with the Tk11 R2 but now I do not know...Please help!

LX2 is one of the most fantastic lights available! I would highly recommend it over the Fenix which is a fine light, but does not bring me the same amount of satisfaction as the LX2.

The beam from the optic is unique and very, very useful... the optic is one of the main reasons to get this light.

Love it? I have 2!

You know how many other lights I have multiples of besides the P60 format?
None
I had a TK11 for a week and sold it off, it didn't feel right somehow.

Get both to know for sure.

A word of advice to OP, don't turn this into a Fenix vs Surefire enquiry.

Yea, it's a work of art and the beam is smooth as silk. I do remember reading though that the LX2's lumen isn't as understated as their previous offerings. Maybe I'm wrong. Not sure now. Regardless, it is a very bright and useful beam like was said above.
