Anybody put a Neutral white LED in a Novatac yet?

I searched a bit, but didn't get any definites.

Has anyone swapped out the LED to a Neutral white LED yet? I love my 120e, but I wish it was tinted a bit more like my Raw with the neutral tint.

I havn't done one yet, but I'd be happy to give it a go. Worst case, I can't do it, and you're out a couple bucks shipping.

I'm 99% certain that someone put a high CRI Seoul in one about a year ago.

I couldn't tell you who that might have been, but I'm pretty sure they posted about it.

Might you be thinking of the Ra's I modded?

Edit: It looks like DiscoverEDC swapped out the emitter in a 120P.

tebore has done a few mods with the HDS/NT stuff so he may know something.

DatiLED did one for me about 9 months ago. A high CRI SSC P4. I think he has done a few. It works great with the stock reflector, but I then had Milky make mine a 120P SuperNova with the KL1 optic. A worthwhile mod.

I have a high CRI seoul in mine (S2 bin).

I'm thinking of either upgrading to T1 bin high CRI seoul or trying a K2 TVOD.

I've heard they are great in Novatacs, right Tebore?
