Do you think Nitecore will release an EZAAA?

Or will they be content with the EZAA competing in the AAA market? Personally I think an EZAAA would be pretty damn cool :) and I'd finally add a 'AAA' light to my collection

below polar circle.. in country which used to make
my vote: dont think they will.

the ezaa is so small already. they probably are happy with it being only little bigger than most AAA lights. and also the AAA has so little power compared to AA i think NC will pass on it.

and there is already a new cheap powerful AAA twisty that is hard to beat.. itp eos. not sure what ezaaa could give so much better that it would be worth the price jump. (+20$)

Who knows but 4 Sevens is saying they will be coming out with the smallest and brightest AAA very soon. They haven't released any details but I think this might be the AAA we all are looking for...At least I hope

This is the exciting quote from 4 sevens.....

"Prototype samples are on their way to me. Tthey were supposed to be
in my hands last week but there were some last minute adjustments.
Once they are approved, it'll probably be 2-3 weeks before announcement
which is when pre-order starts and 2 weeks before delivery. Thats pretty
much the standard plan.

Let's just say there won't be a smaller AAA light that is as bright and smart
as these. I personally am not a big proponent of AAA lights but we are
engineering it based on it only advantage - size. So we're going all out.
AND we're going to but the best LED in it so it's worthwhile to carry daily
without you noticing it until you need it.

Smallest AAA
Brightest AAA
Yes, we're redefining the AAA flashlight.

We're also working on a special surface technology - I'll see how it turns out hopefully this thursday"

OK, I'm curious
The only thing I don't like in the EZ series is how far you have to twist to get high. If it were a quarter twist away or less you could get to high in one motion from off.

Anyone have any idea what this special surface technology is?

Guessing:

100-120 lumen max
PVD coating
infinite adjustment
at or below 2.75" length
at or below .5" diameter

I'm in!

I've become a bit of a AAA fan over the past couple of years, mainly due to the 10440. I'm eager to see what this is going to be and how "smart" it is. I can't imagine it being smaller than the Maratac or ITP AAA's (especially the single mode) but you never know. I'd probably not be interested to the point of purchase if it doesn't support the 10440 though.

4seven said "there won't be a smaller AAA light that is as bright and smart
