I've just received my LF D26 3 Mode drop-in (my first LED lamp assembly) and I've suddenly realised that all my P-Series flashlights have simply momentary on non-clicky tailcaps (plus a Pila GL2 with an LED tailcap). I've also got some DX17593s on the way.
Do I need a clicky switch to get the most out of multi-mode LEDs?
Still getting used to how WHITE these things are! Must try out some comparisons at night. I can see why warm LEDs go for a premium.....
Any advice on the clicky switch would be much appreciated. Ideally I'd like a lock out switch as my lights tend to sit around in bags until required.
Cheers
