Well, I have been working for a while in some other designs, not related to flashlights, but aimed to innivation, high efficiency and new technologies.
This one I want to show you know is a "Spiro". It has 200 SMD warm white diodes, covered with silicone, and you can feed it with. It is pulling near 12 Watt, efficiency would be arround 450 lm. and it projects a wvery even 360º light. You can use it with power source or with SLA batteries, to get more than a night long time with a small battery.

Some of the diodes have failed duw to an impact during the transport.
