I am working on a light for hunting. I have a good supply for my parts but am having trouble finding this particular item. It holds 3 aaa batteries. I need to find a good supply of them and figure out what the thing is called. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's called a battery carrier. I have some I could sell if you really need them. However, I would highly suggest using a light that uses a proper powersource. 3xAAA lights are generally considered the bottom of the barrel.

That is a battery carrier. You can find plenty of them for sale on here.

Which ultra fire rechargeables?

I'd also recommend skipping 3 AAA lights. They are usually cheaply made and have bad(none) regulation.
