Mechanix gloves made something like that. I bought some when they first came out, and they only were like $10/pair. Fairly bright, considering they were made 3-4 years ago. I don't know if they still sell them or not.

Looks like those gloves are higher quality, though. The Mechanix ones wore out pretty fast, because they used a low-quality cloth/leather (looked like leather, but wore out like cloth)

I am thinking a little ingenuity with some elastic webbing and a needle goes a long way of outperforming this... Just a few stitches should be enough to attach a photon microlight or your favorite AAA flashlight to just about any glove....

EDIT: Unless you work in a well lit garage, you probably need a headlamp as well ...
