I'm sure some of you have old lights you'd like to upgrade with crees. Anyone make one?

LEDreplacement.com has only 2 cell.

Re: WTB: 1.5volt 222base screw in flashlight bulb

If i remember correctly . . . .

The 222 was for 2 cells.

The 122 was for 1 cell.
( perhaps it was a 112 )

Both lamps had the same Screw-Threads, and that very distinctive Lens-End.

Brings back a whole lotta' flashlight memories.

I am fairly certain there are no 1-cell screw base led bulbs. If this is for a D cell light you can use a 3-AA to 1-D adapter and you have a couple of choices.

I have never seen a 1 cell LED replacement bulb other than members mods. You will have to make one. as far as a cree version unless you put the boost circuit elsewhere (not in the bulb base) there isn't going to be decent heatsinking to drive it very well. Most dont bother because the time and effort makes it very easy to buy a light made with a cree from scratch.
